High-accuracy cloud text recognition for difficult Arabic prints — even lithograph editions — from the text-extraction sheet in the PDF reader.
The feature is optional and consent-gated: only the image of the requested page is sent, never the whole file, as the privacy page explains.
Three extraction tiers
Choose Instant on-device recognition, Cloud for higher accuracy, or Deep for the hardest pages. A single general cloud-processing consent governs them, managed under Account & Privacy.
Plans for the cloud-reading quota
Sharon Plus and Sharon Pro are monthly auto-renewing subscriptions with a free trial quota every month, plus a one-time 40-page pack when you need it.
The full reader stays free
Plans only raise the cloud-reading quota and never lock away any part of the reader. Reading, the library, highlights, and open sources remain available to everyone.
